Why should I choose Millie's Place for boarding?

Boarding your pup in a well balanced, pup oriented home environment means that while you are away, your pup will be far less stressed than at a traditional kennel or boarding facility. 

Millie's Place serves as a home away from home, where pups learn healthy social etiquette within the home and also within a pack environment.

With small groups of up to six pups on site per day means that there is plenty of love and attention to go around, and pups get an exceptional level of care.

Where does my dog sleep?

Pups are given the run of the house, and can sleep either downstairs on the dog beds or the sofas, or they can come upstairs and take a spot on a human bed or one of the many dog beds placed throughout the house.  Crates are available upon request.

What about food? Do the dogs eat together?

One of the first things we work on is neutralising any resource guarding behaviours. Our pups are able to be respectful and don't go to eat out of another pups bowl. 

By tackling this the pups naturally become less dominant around food and toys, and can meet other pups with less chances of hostility and reactivity.
